It all comes down to me wanting to grab light with my bare hands, shape it, spray it with a little bit of shade, and stick it like wet paper in a scale model. Out of the impossibility to achieve such nonsense, i spend my days waiting for light and shade to blend over any given surface to then press the camera shutter. The patience i lack for everyday chores i surplus to take a picture, therefore i tend to keep the camera with me at all times.

Why do i do it? Well, allow me to share with you -in confidence- that is out of fear. Fear to let go from my mind things like el Ché, football (the round one), and reggae. It frightens me to wake up one day and not be able to remember how is it to walk through downtown Guatemala City, or what it feels like to be in front of Lenin's statue in Fremont. That mania of wanting to remember the essence of everything is what condemns me to reinvent the wheel every day, with the only purpose of not forgetting the why of its roundness...
